Conditions at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are anything but peaceful when sparks fly between Sid Sorokin, the new superintendent, and union boss Babe Williams. Those sparks of love come to a stormy head when workers strike for a 7-1/2 cent pay increase, setting off not only a conflict of management and labor, but a battle of the sexes as well. A solid musical comedy brimming with bright, brassy numbers like “Steam Heat,” “Hey There,” and “Hernando’s Hideaway.”
