HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS: All seating is reserved seating. Tickets may be purchased online, by calling our box office at 865-482-4877, or in person. Ticket reservations via online or phone are automatically held for will call and are available at the theater beginning one hour before showtime. If time allows, tickets can be mailed for a nominal charge.
BOX OFFICE HOURS: 12 Noon-5:30 PM Mon-Friday. (Also on Saturdays during a performance week.)
DISCOUNTS: Subscribers receive savings off of individual ticket prices. In addition, there is also a discount for students and youth, college age (w/student ID) or younger.
PERFORMANCE VENUE AND OFFICES: All of our performances take place at Oak Ridge Playhouse in Historic Jackson Square. The address is: 227 Broadway Avenue. Oak Ridge. Our business office, including our daytime box office, is located on the opposite side of the theater at 27 E. Tennessee Avenue. Oak Ridge.
PARKING: There is free parking in Jackson Square in front of the theater as well as a nearby parking area on Tennessee Avenue across from our business office.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: Various locations in the theater can better accommodate patrons with limited mobility. When possible, arrangements should be made by calling 865-482-4877. Wheelchair Access to the theater is available via ramp from Jackson Square through Emma Spray Garden on the east side of the building.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES: Headsets are available in the lobby prior to each performance. You will be asked to leave your ID until the headset is returned.
ADMISSION POLICY: Everyone attending a performance, including children and youth, must possess a ticket or authorization by the House Manager for admittance. Patrons with unruly and/or disruptive children may be asked to adjourn to the lobby during the performance. No children under the age of three will be admitted.
LATE-COMERS POLICY: The Playhouse reserves the right to hold late-comer patrons in the lobby until such time it is deemed that seating the patrons will be least disruptive. Accordingly, the late patrons will be seated in the rear of the auditorium until intermission when they may claim their assigned seats.
PAYMENT METHODS: For tickets and donations, Oak Ridge Playhouse accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, checks and cash. For concessions sold in the lobby before the show and at intermission, we prefer cash payments, although credit cards will be accepted.
ADDITIONAL FEES: It is important to Oak Ridge Playhouse to keep the cost of attending live theatre affordable. Where necessary, certain per-ticket fees are added onto ticket prices. These include a $1.50 per ticket service fee for phone and online sales and a $1.00 fee for mailed ticket orders.
